Minutes of the June 3rd, 2009 Meeting
of
The Morris County Fire Prevention Association
The meeting was called to order by President Michael Pellek, who welcomed all in attendance. There followed a flag salute and a moment of silence for those gone before us. Mike noted that this is the annual meeting to celebrate the winners of the Poster Contest and that Morris County has the overall State Winner again this year.
There was:
No report from Vice President Dennis Lonagan who was not present.
No report from Secretary Craig Babcock who was not present due to illness. There were no minutes from the May 6th 2009 meeting.
No report from Treasurer Marty Reynolds who was not present due to a death in the family.
The Poster Contest Winners were:

Please note: The State Poster Contest Winner’s Presentation and Luncheon will be at the Springfield Fire Station on Mountain Avenue in Springfield on Wednesday the 24th of June at 11:00 AM.
The State Report was given by Paul Elenio. Please see attached copy for details.
Old Business: President Pellek announced that the “i’s” have been dotted and the “t’s” have been crossed with regards to the Fire Safety Trailer being donated by the Kinnelon Fire department to our association. Plans are in the works to move the trailer to the Academy within the next few weeks. Consideration to what we want lettered on the trailer must be discussed and decided upon in the near future.
