Minutes of the meeting 9/7/11
The meeting
was called to order by President Pellek
at 10:05 AM with a salute to the flag and a moment of silence. President Pellek welcomed all 22 present and urged everyone to continue enjoying
the morning refreshments provided. He
welcomed and introduced Detective Christoph Kimker from the Morris County
Prosecutor's Office. Detective Kimker is
the lead detective on the County Arson Squad.
He gave an informative presentation about the services provided by the
Squad, when we should call them, and what we should expect. The web site for the prosecutor's office is www.morrisprosecutor.org. Detective Kimker's phone number is
973-285-6279 and his email address is ckimker@co.morris.nj.us. The Prosecutor's office will be participating
in the upcoming IAAI course at the Academy.
Treasurer- gave his report which was accepted
as read.
Paul Elenio
gave the State Report.
Forrest Fire Service
- reported that change is coming.
Education Trailer - President Pellek noted that we have
insurance and that next comes registration and a license. Dennis Lonagan reported that we need to buy a
generator and tires. He also stated that
the program is half written.
Good and Welfare - Rich Hiembeck is not doing well
and is in a Nursing Home. Further
details will be obtained and shared.
The next meeting is Wednesday
November 2 at 10:00 AM at the Morris County Public Safety Training Academy.
