COUNTY FIRE PREVENTION ASSOCIATION MEETINGS

DIVISION UPDATES – July 2009

·         The Division of Fire Safety is requesting that your agency complete the annual inspection of public schools within your local enforcing agency by July 31, 2009. The purpose of this request is to identify any unabated violations that would interfere with the opening of the schools in September.  If you have any schools with unabated violations that would not be able to open on time, the Division of Fire Safety requests that you provide the Division with a list of the schools and accompanying violations. This information should be sent to Paul Allen, Supervisor of the Local Assistance Unit. Supervisor Allen can be contacted at 609-633-6132 or pallen@dca.state.nj.us.

  • FO/FI’s are advised you may use the inspection test forms found on the NFPA Website.  These forms are meant to be used in whole or in part by AHJ’s.  There are two conditions attached to using the forms:  (1) The form(s) can not be sold.  (2)  The line along the bottom showing copyright info, etc. must be kept on the form when you reproduce it/them.  www.nfpa.org/aboutthecodes/list_of_codes_and_standards.asp
