April 2006 Meeting Minutes

Meeting called to order at 7:40 PM, April 5, 2006 by President Pelleck.  12 Members were present

Presidents Report:         Golf outing info is available see The President for info.  Dues sheets are available for anyone that has not yet paid them.

Treasurer’s Report:         Read reports, a motion was made to accept the report seconded and passed. M/M and passed to reimburse Ed & Rich for the Christmas

                                    Party.

DFS Report:                  Bureau Chief Paul Allen was present and he updates us on the current status of the DFS, fire extinguisher law, reinforces with members

                                    To fill out the LEA survey, DFS is working with Dr. Frank Field with a test project in Bayonne, discussed the County Fire Marshall status.

                                    Will update.

Safety Town:                 Construction will start soon, there will be a donation thermometer at  Rt.15 & Weldon Rd.

Poster Contest:             We will have a party at he June meeting (6/7/06) for the winners ( I will re send the names when I receive them)

Website:                       Progress

By-Laws:                       Ed will make changes and have a draft for the next meeting

New Business:              Ed to research the www.noburn.com for product info

Good & Welfare:            We will send a get well card to Jeff Betz

                                    M/M to adjourn seconded and passed
